  • Hobbies

Share time! I was once told I don’t share enough. So, since I have nothing better to do, I thought I’d tell y’all a little bout my hobbies.

I love to read. Give me a good book, and I can read for hours. I think the longest I read was 10:00 pm till 4:00 am. Yeah. Awesome book. I read mostly mystery, but my favorite series of all time was Animorphs, by K. A. Applegate. Except for the ending. I almost burned the book.

I watch a lot of movies. My favorites are, but not limited to, Tombstone, Pirates of the Caribbean 1-3, Young Guns 1 &2, I am Legend, The Rundown, and anything with Morgan Freeman, Will Smith, or Jim Carrey.

I write. Not much, but enough to mention. And hardly anyone reads it but me. Poetry and short stories. Maybe I’ll post an excerpt from my short story, which is coming along painfully slow. I also have an emo-ish poem I wrote a few years ago. I wasn’t depressed or anything, just bored, and I didn’t want to go to sleep yet. Maybe I’ll post that. My best poem by far is The Hero though. I love that poem.

I RP (roleplay). Or, I used to. Back win I had a more free access to the internet. I Rped as Riku, from Kingdom Hearts. I must say, I was very good at it. Maybe I’ll pull some of those stories over here too. They remind me of the best time in my life. Now I’m only involved in a tiny site called Fire Wolves (I’ll give you the link if you want). It’s still fun, I just don’t have that much free time.

Being wicked awesome takes up a lot of my time, too I’m involved in my church choir, puppet ministry, AWANA, bus route, Sunday school, assistant janitor, I am president of my school, a counselor, the only child my parents are depending on to turn out right, and I have at least a dozen girls stalking me. The main downsides to life right now are I’m single and I can’t drive. Those two might be related…

So that’s a little about me. What are your hobbies?

  • We still need to go to counsuling togeather for…well you remember it to painful to bring up

  • I read a lot and I’ll read anything that interests me, really. But I do love fantasy books. Although lately I have really been getting into mystery and horror books.

Writing, but it’s going to be more then just a hobby for me. I’m writing a book trilogy and plan it get it published when I’m finished.

I also love playing video games, just like books I’ll play any game I find interesting. I do really like playing RPGs Tthough.

  • LOL!  Loved the last paragraph.  Forget the hobbies and just go with that.

My hobbies are singing in one of the church choirs, reading (mostly spiritual or non-fiction, occasionally some chick lit), and nature.  Trying to get back into drawing, although there isn’t a lot of motivation there.  Would love to try poetry, but I’m not the greatest, so I appreciate it when others post what they are writing (hint, hint) so I can learn.

Do you have any videos of that puppet ministry?  Back when I worked in a hospital, I did some puppet shows for children coming to learn about what it was like to be in a hospital.

  • My hobby is to eat Tiger-ahs….

I am a serious bookworm and blogger. They are what keeps my spare time full, lol. So I guess those are hobbies?

  • I love to read as well. I only wish that I had more uninterrupted time to do so!

  • @MisFishie - Bleh

    @Shining_Garnet - What’s the trilogy about?

@jo63psalm - Lol, I’ll see if I have any poems laying about and put something up soon.

I’m not sure if we have any videos or not. I’ll check with my people. We’re starting to travel around our area and do shows, so we practice for around two hours a week, sometimes longer. It might not sound like much, but it kills the arm! It’s worth it though.

    @imasilentheart -…what’s a Tiger-ah?

@TheCheshireGrins - I know what you mean. I haven’t read that long in at least a year.

  • @Like_A_Tigah - Pfft. Don’t play innocent now. You said Tigers are different than Tigahs. So I combined them–you know like a hybrid animal.

  • @imasilentheart - But that’ll dilute the awesomeness of the Tigah…not to mention, I’m the only Tigah.

  • @Like_A_Tigah - Well..then I eat your….children. *gulp* Okay. That is the end of that career.

It doesn’t dilute it! It makes it twice the awesomer–I guess that is why they are so yummy.

(I think I just grossed myself out)

  • Well, Tigah, you know me pretty well…

My time is filled by senseless mockeries of the fools who make such simple mistakes with they way they type that it soon becomes illegible to me, other slots of my time are filled with such things as the school choir, which will be having their last major concert next Thursday at seven, and I may have a solo in it, pretty awesome right there. Another slot of time is filled with the fact that I have nothing better to do than be on this, or firewolves, or Facebook. Yes, I too exist on Fire Wolves, I introduced Tigah here to it. I’ve been a part of several communities of role-players for the better part of 5 years, which shows that I have had thousands of lives in many many different time periods and places. I spend a lot of time being a Grammar Nazi, which essentially means I police people’s grammar and try to make it near perfection. Lastly, the thing that I’ve been doing the longest and has thus filled the most time in my life ever, is… I love being a human!

Just kidding. The thing that I’ve been doing longest is gaming, enough said.

  • @imasilentheart - I don’t have any children yet, but when I do, I’ll make to let you kno- wait a minute, no I won’t!

@killawolf2125 - Lol, Wolfy, you introduced me to Xanga, too. Heck, I owe my online life to you. Hopefully a week of your time this summer will be spent with me chilaxin at your house!

  • :O You noticed me stalking you?!?!? dang… I’ll have to try harder :P

Hobbies… Staying out of dark recesses of my mind. Pretty much sums it up.

  • @ImperialDoctrinesOfTheNewWorld - I was told you guys have a pow-wow outside my house every Tuedsay. Lol!

Once, I feel into one of those recesses. I have a poem to prove it. Lol

  • @Like_A_Tigah - The trilogy is about a 16 year old girl with powers of sorts. It’s a YA fantasy trilogy.

  • Should be, and you also should be coming for Cedar Point too! idk if my parents will pay this time, $35 for students, though

And Tigah, you would have eventually found these things, after all, you hang out with Simba, I think I’m the only person who could have invited you to FW, but many others could have invited you to Xanga.

You may as well start calling me a Lion, though, Tigah. The Lion has more positive connotations than a wolf.

  • @Shining_Garnet - Sounds cool. You’ll have to let me know when it’s out.

  • @killawolf2125 - Wolves are way cooler than lions.

I’ll be going to Cedar Point the 28th. I’m not sure if I’d be able to go again.=/

  • My hobbies are reading and photography.

  • I play games, blog and act for the most part with my free time.
